The Drawing Society of Canada is registered with the Registrar of Companies of the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations in the province of British Columbia.
The Drawing Society of Canada is managed by a Board of Directors and its officers as outlined in DSC Constitution.

Support for the Drawing Society of Canada has only one requirement - a passion for drawing. Whether you are an artist, draw or paint, beginner or professional, or just a lover of fine art and not an artist at all, young or old, it doesn't matter. Supporters are individuals, companies, and organizations who recognize and support the aims and objectives of the Drawing Society of Canada .

A supporter's contribution is simply to help us cover costs for all the work we do. The Drawing Society of Canada does not have paid membership, therefore we are not member driven and we do not offer member services such as exhibitions, juried shows, etc. Instead we are an educational and advocacy group that promotes the cause of drawing in Canada including our online educational "Gallery of Canadian Drawing Masters," where we feature those whom we consider Canadian drawing masters. As we discover them ( a task that requires much time but is very rewarding ) we invite them to become honourary members and include them in the online gallery. Support for the Drawing Society of Canada with a one-time contribution or continuous contributions, does not constitute a "purchase" of representation in the Gallery of Canadian Drawing Masters , nor does it in any way guarantee or ensure selection or invitation to be an honourary member. Invitations to become an honourary member are a separate process. In addition, we have recently launched the "Canadian Academy of Drawing" which offers online critique, for a nominal fee, to those who study the highly acclaimed "Drawing Course" by Charles Bargue ( all details online ). Our initiatives reach coast to coast and step by step we are building awareness for the cause of drawing. Our website is worth looking at plus it's a good dose of Canadian culture.

We welcome your support. Simply mail your cheque to:
